Subject: Classified stock is less prevalent fin.
не понимаю смысла последнего предложения

Stocks are divided between class A and class B. The different classes in a company’s capitalisation are often itemised on the balance sheet. Normally, the distinguishing features are set out in the company’s bylaws and charter. They often give an additional advantage to Class A shares in terms of voting power, through dividend and liquidation privileges. Classified stock is less prevalent today compared to the 1920s.

Просто разбивка/деление на акции разных типов/классов сегодня встречается реже.
