Контекст:

The filter drive (rotation of the screen disk) is initiated via the hydraulic power pack. A screen change means that the rotary disk is indexed so that the screen surface area which is contaminated in the melt channel is exchanged for clean area.

In the operating mode PRESSURE+TIME, the indexing movement of the filter disk is initiated pressure-dependent with overlapping basic cycle time.

As long as the differential pressure exceeds the minimum pressure and at the same time is below the nominal value, the indexing movement is time-dependent. This means that within the basic cycle time (T3), the filter disk is moved by one stroke of the hydraulic drive.

In the operating mode PRESSURE+TIME, the filter disk will be indexed automatically when the pressure nominal value is exceeded, until the pressure falls below the nominal value again.

И можно последний вопрос: что значит pre-flooding. Предложения разрозненные, но это весь контекст:

After the corresponding key has been activated, the filter disk is rotated continuously by a certain number of rotations which have been set at the touch panel. The melt pressure does not affect this procedure. The strokes of the hydraulic cylinder will not be interrupted by the pre-flooding time.

In the operating mode CHANGE, the control system operates with a pre-flooding time which can be set separately.

Between 2 operating cycles of the filter drive, the time T4 elapses. This assures a safe pre-flooding of the screen cavities.
