Контекст:

The stabilizer off gas and the drag stream from the recycle gas meet and flow upflow through the stabilizer gas scrubber to remove hydrogen chloride. The caustic, from reservoir section, is pumped to the top of the scrubbing section of the scrubber where a counter current contact with the acidic gas is made. The scrubbed gas leaves the top of the stabilizer gas scrubber and goes to fuel gas on back pressure control.
