Can you guys please take a look at this translation and tell me if the way i translated обеспечении всестороннего заимствования зарубежного опыта is right? I am having some pretty serious doubts.

In the course of this first meeting, decisions were made concerning the organization of an up-to-date and strict translation/interpretation of the Basle documents in Russian, the organization of an accreditation process for the preparation of necessary specialist, the organization of a efficient and methodical methods for implementation, assurance of the universal adoption of foreign know-how as well as, about the organization of a system of effective cooperation among the members of the Committee through the use of modern internet technologies.

Methodical methods - нехорошо. И вообще, так ли вам, Nina79, нужно цепляться за мертворожденные конструкции русского канцелярита? Ведь в оригинале фигня ж написана. Не надо ее воспроизводить поструктурно. Постарайтесь ее просто понять, а затем изложить на хорошем американском языке. Типа вот так (хотя куда мне до хорошего американского):

when i translate i often do a pretty literal one and then go back and englishify it. i posted this before englishification. :) i am sure this is an ass-backwards way of translating, but it's how it happens over here at times. i get the idea down and out and then make it work they way it should.

anyhow, methodical methods is assanine and i already caught, but thanks.

Только этааа, не в моей компетенции вам указывать, ибо инглиш вы по определению знаете лучше меня, но не много ли будет артиклей "the" в перечислении результатов совещания?

concerning the article "the" - it's a matter of style. I tend to like using it, some people hate it when you use it this way. It's really the author's choice. I wanted to draw attention to each individual decision thus the use of "the". Without "the" the ideas tend to blur and not be so firmly placed into the mind of the reader.
