Subject: Доброго здоровья!

Доброго здоровья!

The phrase is used in the opening to a letter. Literally it would be "Good Health!" but that sounds strange in English. What would be a better English equivalent?

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance. Please, help to translate.

Phrase is used in the following sentence:

Thanks in advance

imho: depends on the purpose and the audience of the letter. if you want to preserve the “outlandish russian flavor”, you could say “greetings”; otherwise “dear madam/sir” will do. :-)

Watchkeeper,

"Greetings" is good. I can't think of an equivalent English greeting with "health" in it. "Greetings" does convey the correct feeling.

Thanks.
