During laparotomy under halothane anesthesia, a grommet-shaped double lumen plug was sutured into the stomach wall. Two silastic 2.3mm internal diameter (entry and exit) cannulae connected to the plug and communicating with the gastric lumen were tracked through the abdominal wall, subcutaneously to the interscapular region where they were separately exteriorized. The laparotomy wound was closed with clips, the rat was placed in a heated recovery cage for one day with free access to water. Thereafter, the rats were housed singly with free access to water and rat chow until they were subjected to overnight fasting for experiments which were performed on conscious rats, about 10-15 days after surgery

Крысам (возраст и масса тела такие то) поставщик (название фирмы) выполнял установку двойной гастростомы/двойного желудочного свища/двойной желудочной фистулы

Или:
