Dry-Out Procedure Philosophy has been developed in order to:

- harmonise the correct execution of the Dry-Out, whose critical phase is mainly at burner start-up until approx. 400 °C of Pre-Heating,

and taking into account,

- the Turn-Down capacities of the equipment/machines involved, i.e.

a. Burner ;
b. Combustion Air Blower;

To improve the Turn-Down capabilities of the burner a supplementary Gas Gun, with a lower heat liberation capacity is supplied and has to be installed in the burner.

Вообще речь идет об окислительной установке печи для сжигания мусора. Приведу еще несколько предложений.

The Dry-Out Gas Gun has been sized for a reduced Duty, and the relevant Gas Tip has been designed for firing LPG Fuel Gas or a Start-up Gas (natural Gas) should the LPG gas not be available for the first start-up.

The whole dry-out sequence shall be performed with the Dry-Out Gas Gun, fed with Natural Gas instead of LPG, should the latter not be available.

RE: Turn-Down capacities

Turn-down Ratio: The numeric ratio representing highest and lowest effective system capacity. Calculated by dividing the maximum system output by the minimum output at which steady, controlled, efficient, pollution-free combustion can be sustained. For example, a 4: 1 turn-down indicates that minimum operating capacity is one-quarter of the maximum.

Другой вариант: "снижение эффективной мощности оборудования в процессе его длительной эксплуатации в течение срока службы".
