Floating vacuum cleaner
No one travels by hovercraft these days, but that doesn't mean the technology's over, oh no. The XXX is a floating vacuum cleaner that glides about your house on a "cushion of air". The wheel-less (and bag-less) cleaner is apparently almost weightless as well. It will float across hard floors and carpets without you having to drag it about the place. Another benefit is that it apparently saves wear and tear on your carpets as well as scratches and wheel marks on hard floors.
