Vira, To spare us some confusion here. In your case this maybe also a "nascent market". An "Emerging market" is used in a broad economic sense (seems like it is not your case, the link given to you refers to this term) and in a narrow sense (a small segmet, a market for some definite product, or in an ordinary speech). E.g. "Air taxis offer on-demand, point-to-point air transportation..."This is an emerging market with significant growth potential," said Michael Heck, Ph.D., director of the Center for Aerospace Technology at RTI. "The computer program helps potential business owners and investors find market opportunities in their areas and make better business decisions concerning air taxi service operations." So you can use either of the terms. |

Здравствуйте. Коллеги, устремите взор на русский текст, не приискивая сразу термины из рыночной тематики. "Находиться на этапе зарождения" - это сродни "продолжительному зачатию"... Раз пишут о рынке, значит, он УЖЕ ЕСТЬ (ура, РОДИЛСЯ!!!), только очень МОЛОДОЙ. Краше всего будет простое "very young" или, если уж ТАК НАДО, "...market... is in the early stage of its development". Всего доброго. |

Yes, Vira, virtually all the terms can be used in your context. "Young" and "immature" naturally have connotations of their own, if this is what is meant, use these. If smth "general" is implied, I would say "nascent" or "emerging". Best, |
