Stinger rollers

To unwind the spiral while it is been towed along the pipeline trajectory (trench) and to launch the elastically unwound pipeline while it is supported by Stinger rollers. These rollers are connected to a train of floats, balancing the weight of the pipe under water, from sealevel to seabed. This ‘Compliant Stinger’ can be guided by standard tugboats, ensuring low stresses in the pipe and high precision at the point of touchdown.
