Здесь речь идет о тестировании оттисков на светопрочность по шкале Blue Wool (о которой недавно поведал Скай).Контекст:
a. For non-fluo colors
Illuminate the color samples until a noticeable color change has been observed ; this means a difference corresponding to grey scale number 3 . The BWS number 5 should at that moment show a same grey scale 3 difference or stronger. If not, this means that the ink has a lower than 5 BWS value and should be rejected. The actual BWS number can be checked on the swatches 1 till 5.
b. For fluo-colors
1. Expose until BWS number 1 has changed according to grey-scale 3. No color difference should be seen on the covered versus uncovered color samples.
2. Further expose until BWS number 2 has changed according to grey-scale 3. The color samples may show a color difference grey scale 3 provided the same color shade is kept, i.e. only a lightening or darkening.
