Доброе утро. Помогите, пожалуйста, перевести предложение:

The value reported for moisture of the concentrate is the mean, Mm, of both determinations.

Контекст:

The percentage moisture content (M) of the sample of concentrate is calculated as follows :

M = 100x[(w1 - w2)/(w1 - w0)]%

where : w0 is the empty weight (tare) of the tray, w1 the weight of tray plus sample before drying, w2 the weight of tray plus sample after drying.

The discrepancy between both results must not exceed 0.1 % absolute. The value reported for moisture of the concentrate is the mean, Mm, of both determinations.

А что означает Mm?
Дело в том что парой страниц ниже я нашла почти такое же предложение, но там было написано Lm. Вот оно:
The value reported for loss on ignition for the concentrate is the mean, Lm, of both determinations.

В нем речь идет о потере концентрата при прокаливании.
По логике, получается, что Mm - масса воды (влаги), Lm - теряемая масса... Так?

И что означает "both determinations"?

Lm - loss mean
both determinations - оба значения, т.е. w1 и w2
