Выражение встречается в следующем контексте:
The Module consists of a 3phase rectifier module rated up to a maximum of 15A DC. The module can be configured to operate in either single or three phase modes by selection of JP4. The module also contains all the snubbing components required for Dv/Dt protection of the semiconductor devices. A series and flywheel diode are included on the module for charger protection against reversed battery and to allow several chargers of the same type to be paralleled.

snubbing components - компоненты затухания
dv/dt - быстрое изменение напряжения v во времени t, всплеск и т.п.
series and flywheel diode - последовательный и инерционный (шунтирующий?) диоды
Хорошо бы посмотреть на схеме устройства, что там где кого шунтирует

0605 - да, звучит странновато. Может здесь используется какое-то сравнение с грузовыми терминалами? Так сказать, эпитет. Я никогда такого не встречал.
