What a snafu with the translation of "measurable"

A very strange thing ....Just came across the word "measurable" in the Russian translation (умеренный, скромный; не особенно большой) and was shocked because it means quite the opposite from the original meaning of the word. Watch out:)

Taken from Longman dictionary: measurable - large or important enough to have an effect that can be seen or felt

"measurable progress" весьма ощутимый прогресс

measurable - (буквально) заметный, ощутимый, поддающийся оценке/измерению (в отличие от того, который настолько мал, что и измерить нельзя - т.е. TSTM = too small to measure).
