Distribution compliance period - 40-дневный период, предусмотренный в Regulation S Комиссии по ценным бумагам as in:

While any Bearer Note is represented by a Temporary Global Note, payments of principal and interest (if any) due prior to the expiry of the Distribution Compliance Period will be made against
presentation of the Temporary Global Note only to the extent that certification (in a form to be provided) to the effect that the beneficial owner of such Note is not a U.S. person or a person who has purchased for resale to any U.S. person, as required by U.S.

Так не очень понятно. Неужели в тексте нет определения? Ведь с прописной буквы написано.

Вот определение из Закона о ценных бумагах 1933 года:

Distribution compliance period. "Distribution compliance period" means a period that begins when the securities were first offered to persons other than distributors in reliance upon this Regulation S (Rule 901 through Rule 905, and Preliminary Notes) or the date of closing of the offering, whichever is later, and continues until the end of the period of time specified in the relevant provision of Rule 903, except that:
