Не могу понять предложение:

The test joints will be welded between pipe pup piece (min. length 1 meter) with the Bend test ring (min. length 30 cm).

Особенно pipe pup piece и with the Bend test ring

Pipe to Bend welding
Pipe : OD 18” WT 10.3 mm L360MC
Bend : OD 18” WT 12,7 mm API 5L X52 PSL1

The test joints will be welded between pipe pup piece (min. length 1 meter) with the Bend test ring (min. length 30 cm).
Nr. 1 joint of Pipe to Bend will be welded by SMAW in accordance with proposed Welding Procedure Specifications. The complete weld shall be submitted to NDT after 24 hours, upon satisfactory results of NDT, the standard mechanical tests shall be performed on weld, in order to cover the qualification of Pipe to Bend welding (SMAW) & external repairs.

Что - то связанное с гнутыми трубами ( мы их называли - кривые)
Скорее всего:
проверяемый стык будет сварен между отрезком прямой трубы (мин длиной 1 мм) и проверочным отрезком гнутой (мин 30 см)

ИМХО,Bend test ring это кольцо отрезаемое от трубы для проведения испытаний на изгиб
А вообще, тут идет речь о квалификационных испытаниях технологии сварки. И описывается методика отбора испытательных образцов.
