Subject: Please help me to finish one sentence in English This is to be used in a newsletter. I can't think up of any good ending (a bit slangy, with positive connotation). It should be something about the benefits, "находка", "выгодное приобретение", etc. Here is this sentence: This release is a big step for us and hopefully, ??? for you. Thanks to all:) |

To Mo: a software product :)) will be rolled out... |
a clincher |

Chucha: if you are looking for a catchy and original ending designed to get your software noticed, why not let us know what does the software actually do / designed for? Otherwise you'll end up with a bunch of trivial (and probably irrelevant) suggestions instead of the one and only masterpiece (and I am not claiming to be the one to produce it!))) |
I guess I managed to find the phrase I needed. "a leap forward for you" seems quite nice. Thanks again to all who helped me |

2 Mo: Уважаемые! Бросайте в меня камнями, если я не прав. Мне кажется, что в этом предложении что-то не так: "If you are looking for a catchy and original ending designed to get your software noticed, why not let us know what does the software actually do / designed for? I think this sentence should read as follows: ""If you are looking for a catchy and original ending designed to get your software noticed, why not let us know what the software actually does/is designed for?" |
