как этот ответ перевести?
то есть, подразумеывается, что человек вежливо "отшивает" аскера.
это как, напр, сказать I'm not telling you that на вопрос Are you pregnant yet?

the answer "wouldnt you like to know" actually isnt as rude as it sounds... it is usually said with a bit of a laugh and a smile and the "not" makes it more polite. it is actually much more polite than "its not your business" or "im not telling you."

and i didnt bite.... i also just really dont understand why saying "no" or "not" in russ or in eng makes something polite. i think its weird and must having something to do with the inner-psyche of man
