Передо мной certificate of liability insurance.

Действующие лица:

Producer: AAA, Inc.
Insured: BBB, Corp.
Insurers affording coverage: Insurer 1, Insurer 2, Insurer 3...
Certificate holder: CCC Ltd. (далее поясняется, что If the certificate holder is an additional insured, the policy(ies) must be endorsed.)

И все это на бланке еще одной компании, DDD Corporation, название которой упоминается только в колонтитулах.

Кто такой producer?

Страховой брокер? Страховщик (и тогда те, кто affording coverage, перестраховщики)? Или кто-то третий?

"Producer" means an insurance broker or brokers or any other person, firm, association or corporation, when, for any compensation, commission or other thing of value, such person, firm, association or corporation acts or aids in any manner in soliciting, negotiating or procuring the making of any insurance contract on behalf of an insured other than the person, firm, association or corporation.
