Subject: Disease commodity package med. Здравствуйте!Перевожу рекомендации ВОЗ по коронавирусу. И данное словосочетание " Disease commodity package" вызвало затруднения. Можно ли перевести как "пакет необходимых поставок в условиях заболевания"? Контекст " Disease commodity package: novel coronavirus (COVID-19)." Вот еще немного контекста " A disease commodity package for COVID-19 outlines the supplies needed for surveillance, laboratory analysis, clinical management and IPC." |
supplies - здесь, имхо, не "поставки", а "(расходные) материалы" |

I'm not a diseases expert and I'll leave others to suggest a Russian translation -- but here, if it helps, is a definition of these packages (DCPs) from the WHO website itself, edited by me: " Disease Commodity Packages (DCPs) Introduction As recent infectious disease outbreaks have demonstrated, the lives of individuals depend on the ability of health professionals to respond quickly and effectively in order to save lives. [However, information as to which medical commodities (=supplies and equipment) are required to fight the various diseases, and the technical specifications of these commodities, are often not available to] these health professionals. WHO has [therefore] designed so-called Disease Commodity Packages (DCPs). What are the Disease Commodity Packages? They are a series of disease-specific datasheets that list the commodities [required to fight each disease] and the technical specifications of each commodity. Initially the DCPs [covered] 11 infectious diseases [including Ebola virus, cholera, Lassa fever, SARS, yellow fever and typhoid fever]. [Coronavirus has now been added to these]. The commodities [required and] their technical specifications [have been] determined by WHO technical experts in consultation with external experts. 'commodities' is a slightly vague term which here -- I suspect -- probably just means 'things' = anything which medical professionals require in order to fight the disease effectively. |
спасибо! |
Если нет чего-нибудь устоявшегося, то что-то вроде "перечень/список/набор предметов [расходных материалов и оборудования] для борьбы с заболеванием". |

If you go to this Russian-language WHO webpage: and search down it for 'Disease Commodity Package' it gives the Russian plural as: " Наборы материально-технических средств для борьбы с болезнями -- Disease Commodity Package " If you click on this second link it'll take you to the actual Russian version of the (PDF) document. The large table lists the commodities (supplies/equipment) required to fight Covid-19 and the technical specifications of each item. |

I suspect the term 'Disease Commodity Package' may have been invented by the WHO, as if you Google it, 90% of the refs to it are either from the WHO website itself, or seem to be quoting from/copying it from the WHO website. I'm not an expert, though. |

You're welcome. The WHO En-Ru translator did most of the work, though! |
