Привет! Перевожу договор о предоставлении услуг. В нем встретилось:

I am aware and agree that the Service Provider is my sole employer and it alone is liable to pay my salary and for providing my out of working conditions.

Вроде весь документ был написан на более или менее грамотном английском, а тут какая-то фигня. Или я что-то не понимаю?)

Что может означать my out of working conditions ?

'to provide s.o.'s out of working conditions' doesn't make sense in English. I suspect there's a word (or possibly even two words) missing immediately before, or immediately after, 'out of' or 'out of working'.

It could possibly be an error for something like 'out-of-working-hours [something] conditions'. However, that's just a guess. You may have to tell your Russian customer: 'Typing error in the English -- 1-2 words missing before 'conditions' '.

* 'out-of-hours working conditions' [where 'out-of-hours' means 'outside an organisation's/a person's normal working hours'] or

* 'out-of-[something else] working conditions'.

It's all guesswork, though.

оригинал похож на типовой калифорнийский договор: I understand and agree that the Contractor referenced above is my sole employer for purposes of the above-referenced contract. I understand and agree that I must rely exclusively upon my employer for payment of salary and any and all other benefits payable to me or on my behalf by virtue of my performance of work under the above-referenced contract

Может быть, здесь имели в виду "out-of-work benefits" (пособие по безработице)?

По-моему, в виду имеется "...обязан...обеспечивать меня/оказывать мне (материальную) поддержку в случае отсутствия (у меня) работы, то есть на окладе товарищ будет сидеть (в силу действия договора), даже если работы никакой нет. Уволить нельзя и в вынужденный отпуск за свой счет отправить невозможно. Отсутствие работы, например, в силу неимения заказов итп. не служит основанием для отказа в праве на получение выплат.
