Уважаемые коллеги!

Помогите, пожалуйста, перевести expansion bow в следующем контексте:

Using 316 stainless steel tubing for the steam and netralizer line to the steam injector is recommended. This tubing is clean and more resistant  to corrosion than mild steel pipe. If you require pipe instead of tubing, a short section of tubing between the pipe and the injector is recommended. This short section of tubing with a small expansion bow will reduce the load stress on the injection pipe and packing gland.

В качестве гипотезы: "с небольшим изгибом/искривлением при расширении" [надо полагать, тепловом]. Во всяком случае, в текст ложится.  Про компенсатор и сильфон в исходнике вроде ничего нет
