| Хорошо бы сначала разобраться, какие устройства могут управлять данным клапаном. Магнитоэлектрический генератор, как я понимаю, в состоянии это делать. Теперь надо расшифровать MPC. Adelaida, в тексте есть названия каких-либо подобных устройств, начальные буквы которых могут образовать аббревиатуру MPC? |

перечитала сабж - усумнилась, вряд ли для охлаждения м.б. хладагенты MEG monoethylene glycol и menthol propylene glycol carbonate (Frescolat MPC)? |

Уважаемая Erdferkel, хладагент вряд ли может приводить в действие клапаны, но я не настаиваю. Valves are operated by обычно электричеством или мускульной силой (но я не настаиваю). "A modulating control valve is an automated valve that is used to control the amount of flow in a system or process. They go beyond simple shutoff or isolation (on/off) and actually allow precise control of the flow rate. The actuators on these valves use feedback and control signals to accurately open and close the valve. There are two distinct types of valves that can be used for modulating control: "Rising Stem" and "Quarter-turn." Both types operate using the same logic and principles. A control signal is sent to the actuator to instruct it on how far to raise or turn the stem. The control signal may be in the form of air pressure, or electrical voltage. For instance a 3-15 psi pneumatic signal will cause the actuator to completely closed the valve at 3 psi or lower, and completey open it at 15 psi or above. A 0-10 VDC electric signal will cause the actuator to completely closed the valve at 0 VDC, and completey open it at 10 VDC or above. Typically there will be a flow meter downstream from the valve that measures the current flow rate, and sends that information to a control computer. The computer will apply the appropriate logic and generate the signal needed to adjust the valve in either direction until the desired flow rate is met." More info: |

Aiduza - сорри, я только сейчас заглянула в словарь насчет "приводиться в действие" (электротехника) до того ошибочно думала, что это "работать с" а текст англичане писали? м.б. кто-то ошибся, вроде меня? что ж такое тогда MPC? неужто и правда model predictive controller? |

| Для сокращения МРС есть еще расшифровка Magnetic Power Contoller, что в словарях переводят как "Мощный электромагнитный контроллер". Такой, вроде бы, тоже может приводить в действие клапаны. |

Это может быть просто название модели, без расшифровки. Например (речь здесь, в том числе, идет и о motorised valves): The MPC Platinum control Series is designed to operate a steam boiler or a steam valve to provide steam outdoor reset in single-pipe and two-pipe steam heating systems. (возможно, MPC = micro-processor control) |

ежели название модели, то не было бы в таком случае modulating MEG-/MPC-valve, а не which can be operated by MEG or MPC? |
