An awards ceremony was held recently at Quayside in Ipswich to thank the participants for their achievements. Winners of the Accumulator Challenge, receiving the first prize for raising the most amount of money was Grass Solutions, who raised an amazing £2,700 from a range of fundraisers, including a bake sale and a 50 mile bike ride. Grass Solutions Owner David Holt said: "It has been a really enjoyable experience taking part in the Accumulator Challenge and we are thrilled to have raised the most amount of money for the Hospice. We will definitely be taking part in the next one!” Others receiving awards included: Ensors, Ipswich, who won second prize for raising £2,500 by getting sponsored for taking a dip in the sea, as well as holding dress down days and bake sales. |
