The Assay test is mandatory to be included in the specifications of the finished product and the Release limits applied by Medochemie are in accordance with the limits recommended in the guideline 3AQ11a: Specifications and Control tests on the finished product. The release limits were set up as: 95.0% to 105.0%. Taking into consideration that the maximum losses that can occur during the shelf life of the product are 5.0% the lower limit of the assay during the shelf life was set up at 90.0% whereas the upper limit was kept the same, 105.0%. The shelf life limits are: 90.0% to 105.0%.
Подскажите, пожалуйста, интересуют термины realease limits и shelf life limits в данном контексте, это, если я правильно понимаю, предельные значения содержания активного вещества при выпуске и во время срока хранения?!

Да, это требования к содержанию действующего вещества при выпуске и на момент окончания срока годности.
Соответственно, release specification - спецификация при выпуске, shelf-life specification - спецификация на момент окончания срока годности.
Дело в том, что в течение срока годности содержание действующего вещества может меняться, с помощью этих спецификаций это и нормируют.
