Подскажите, пожалуйста, как перевести предложение. На первый взгляд показалось простым, но пишу-пишу и ничего толкового не выходит.

"This is to certify that the herein name, having complied with the ordinance in force, related to licenses, is hereby licensed to transact the business of:"

Фраза в таком сертификате.

I'm not an En-Ru translator, but it's in US English (license noun (US), licence noun (UK)), so probably relates to the US. If so, they're issued by the different cities and states.

If there isn't a single, recognised Russian translation you should be able to devise one based on the above, perhaps putting 'business license' in brackets after the Russian.

"Business Licenses" is just the subject of my question (and the document where I found my "problem" sentence)

I need the translation of this sentence "This is to certify that the herein name, having complied with the ordinance in force, related to licenses, is hereby licensed to transact the business of:"

Sorry, prostomorkva -- misread the question.

The meaning:
'the herein name' = 'the name mentioned in this document'
'having complied with' = 'which has complied with'
'the ordinance in force' = 'the ordinance which is currently operative/valid under the law'
'is hereby licensed to ....' = 'is licensed by this document to ....'
'to transact the business of ....' = 'to carry on the business of ....' (ie, sell and buy things/services)

Simple English:
'This document certifies that the name mentioned in this document, which has complied with the decree relating to licenses which is currently valid under the law, is licensed by this document to carry on the business of ....'

Others will be able to help you with the En-Ru translation.
