Уважаемые коллеги, подскажите, пожалуйста, как перевести на английский язык:

"удельный вес грунта с учетом взвешивающего действия воды"

Я предположила, что это "specific density of soil suspended in water", но не уверена, что это правильно.

Soil density calculated with consideration of the water buoyancy (~Wet Density, ρ). The various discussions I can find on here and elsewhere using the buoyant weight of soil which is the soil density minus the density of water. This makes sense to me that the soil will effectively weigh less in water. However, shouldn't we then take into account the weight of water (effectively putting the 62.4 pcf back into the weight) as the water will weigh down the structure.

1) не надо опускать specific (потому что еще бывает bulk density)
2) на взвешивающее давление можно взять более традиционное uplift pressure

1) Вы перепутали specific gravity c density (удельным весом)
