Incredible. I've never heard of that before. This is obviously a form of what's called 'alternative medicine'. |
спасибо, но думал, что есть и другие синонимы |

Here are some puppets. This is a 'Punch & Judy show' -- a 300-year-old tradition at British seaside resorts. Mr Punch (married to Judy, not shown here) is a horrible, violent man with a large, hooked nose and chin who (amongst other things) likes to hit people with a stick and then shout "That's the way to do it!!!" Here he's seen with the local policeman, PC [=Police Constable] Bob. It doesn't answer the asker's question, but I thought you'd find it amusing. Therapeutic, even.... http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jowAasbyaXc More on Punch & Judy if interested: |

Erdferkel: Ha! [Child's Play was] "the first movie to feature the killer doll Chucky". "The killer doll Chucky"! It sounds hilarious, I shall have to see it! Aiduza: Punch & Judy + a psychiatric hospital are always guaranteed to make you feel better! |

PS: It might be PC Plod rather than PC Bob; I'm not sure. 'PC Plod' is, historically, a humorous (and slightly pejorative) UK name for a policeman -- from to 'plod along' = to walk slowly and heavily (in this case, along the pavement). |
