Похоже на то, что "исследователи" просто пропустили данный белок, а зря. И теперь белок сам во всем виноват... Failed вряд ли годится, поскольку белок никаких действий не предпринимал, потому был просто не в состоянии to fail. Left out он был... |

To wow2 - потому что I feel that в данном случае правильно fall, а не hit. To 10-4 - возможно, но опять же имеет оттенок того, что кто-то специально отбирал, а это не так. Спасибо всем ответившим. |

ИМХО, under and into здесь равноценны. Артикль - да, конечно. В итоге отправил текст: "didn't fall into the studied category" Хотя вариант от Amor 71 тоже нравится. Спасибо всем еще раз. |

Tamerlane: was not among THOSE randomly picked. Здесь THOSE лишнее. И так понятно, и его обычно опускают. Pick or pick up? Not: … pick up some flowers … She earned money during the summer picking fruit on local farms. Pick can also mean ‘choose’: Have a look at these photos of the walking trip. Pick the ones you want and give me back the rest. Pick up means ‘lift something up using your hands’: I’m tired of picking up your clothes from the floor!
