Здравствуйте.
Подскажите, пожалуйста, есть ли в английском аналог русского выражения "дети гор". в частности, нужно обозначить людей, живущих недалеко от горной местности и активно горами интересующимися, ходящими в походы etc. в шутливой форме, как и в русском варианте.

*в шутливой форме, как и в русском варианте. * это звучит "дикие люди, дети гор". так обычно говорят, слегка первоисточник видоизменив. так что вообще не та коннотация. пишите дословно и не парьтесь.

мне попался на глаза текст, где парень говорит про себя, что он "mountain kid". но, как известно kid - это ещё и парень. может ли данное выражение использовать в описании себя и девушка?
