ну, тут фишка в том, что начало дня у parties могут не совпадать (например, у нас и в США). поэтому тут так надо раскладывать:
in the case of telecopy/ at the commencement of the day - чьего именно? - of the receiving party (день какой?) following transmission/ provided that an answerback or other electronic confirmation of receipt has been received by the sending party and ...
дальше, все, вроде понятно. а контекст у вас:)
