Контекст: The half-life of the converting-enzyme inhibitors has been difficult to measure because, as shown by the disappearance curve, it has polyphasic kinetics with a prolonged terminal phase probably related to persist­ ent binding of the drug to angiotensin-converting en­ yme in the circulation or tissue.
