supervisor здесь подчиняется (докладывает и получает указания) foreman'у.

он существляет надзор, координирует и контролирует ... работу дорожной бригады - бригадир, значит.

Foreman - прораб (участка), получается.

The Roads and Dumps Shift Supervisor controls the safe, environmentally friendly and efficient execution of mine operations through the direction of the General Pit Foreman (GPF) against the agreed mine plan and production schedule and requires world class practices of his crew in order to deliver high quality performance. This position is provided communication from the GPF of his work shift’s role as it relates with the daily assignments of Mine Operations Maintenance (MOM) and Engineering Group. That specific role of this individual is their continued and ongoing communication with the GPF to insure the shift’s tasks are safely supporting and accomplishing the production and cost targets of the department. Communication is also required within MO associated with the handoff of ongoing work tasks and related work schedules with his counterpart of the daily oncoming shift rotation.
