После промывки компрессора газотурбинного двигателя в оперативном режиме может быть произведена продувка в патрубках подводящих трубопроводов, используемых для подачи промывочной воды в компрессор. Продувка может сократить или удалить количество деминерализованной или деионизированной воды, которая может быть собрана в патрубках подводящих трубопроводов во время промывки в оперативном режиме.

Промывку в автономном режиме компрессора газотурбинного двигателя осуществляют для более эффективной очистки компрессора от налипших загрязнений. Во время промывки в автономном режиме в воду добавляют моющее средство для удаления загрязнений, которые только вода не может удалить. Кроме того, используется большое количество деминерализованной и деионизированной воды для обеспечения эффективности промывки и оптимизации восстановления производительности.

"Промывка на ходу" это называется. Устанавливается два коллектора форсунок: один для промывки на ходу (во время работы), а второй для промывки на холодной прокрутке (когда двигатель вращается от стартера без подачи топлива в камеру сгорания).
Снижается не производительность, а эффективность компрессора, или кпд.
