Уровень безопасности информации? Если в данном случае security, а не securities, может ли это быть количеством ценных бумаг? Тогда что означает "security-time"?

у Вас в тексте кое-где пропущены дефисы
должно быть так -
institution-security-time observations - наблюдения (анализ) проводились по институтам(орг-циям)-цен.бумагам - срокам(периодам времени)

у Вас далее говорится
"The data on holdings at the security level allow us to estimate the institutions’ turnover...."
