Добрый день! Помогите, пожалуйста, не могу понять, что имеется ввиду под фразой "backend transactions".

Контекст такой:

Note that, in this view, monitoring is front and center in any effective GRC practice. For example, a customer can monitor configurations of SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) credit checks to make sure that even as these are changed during routine maintenance, they remain compliant with company policies (see the appendix in section 6.2 for details). Обычно front end - это user interface, т.е. вебсайт или GUI (graphic user interface) аппликация. А backend - это база данных и software бегущее в бэкграунде и связывающее интерфейс с базой данных. Backend transation - обмен данными между front and back end, обычно инициируется юзером.

[без знания смыслового контекста и терминологии САПа] почему-то кажется, что здесь
background transactions = transactions in background tasks
т.е. операции/изменения/транзакции, выполняемые фоновыми задачами / в фоновом режиме

A transaction is a set of log lines that belongs together, e.g. a client request or a backend request. The API monitors the log, and collects all log records that make up a transaction before reporting on that transaction. Transactions can also be grouped, meaning backend transactions are reported together with the client transaction that initiated it.

Всем большое спасибо. Видимо, это словосочетание лучше не переводить вовсе. Так и оставила backend-транзакции. :)
