as my country began in 1776 anything on the site before this date is really british colonial history..... in essence anyhow, and people should remember that... also, as if Russia never fought a war and killed people to expand and take more territory

if you look at the history of nation building, there are no innocent parties.

I'm with gogolesque in this one.

Russia has recently began a huge PR campaign that is oriented in two directions. Most of the budget and effort goes to building a positive image through mass-media (including TV, I think everybody has heard 'bout new channel). The small part, however, is almost fully officialy allocated to "black PR".

There is quite a number of new anti-West sites in the Internet.

US history is very fresh in the mind of the world becasue the nation is young in comparison, but i beg you all to look at world history, the history of nation building, the wars your own countries have been involved in and the reasons for involvement. you will see that a lot of the attacks on teh US are truly unfounded.
i am not a supporter of war but i do try to remain objective. when you lack objectivity you allow for people, for example, Hitler, to happen.

I studied in American Uni for two years you know. And I did see those tears of pride when young(!), educated(!!) and quite objective(!!!) Americans listened to their national anthem... This is something Russian will never understand.

На этом сайте по сути дела всего лишь список военных операций, в которых участвовали вооруженные силы США, и ничего более. Война- это всегда преступления, убйства, падение морали и нравственности, гибель мирных жителей и т.д. всегда так было, есть и будет.
Что же касается Америки, то имхо это мировой агрессор нумер айнц,лично мне она напоминает Германию образца 1939 года, с единственной той разницей, что остановить Америку будет куда более затруднительно, нежели Германию. В общем, я убежден, что рано или поздно США приведут человечество к третьей мировой войне, а соответственно и к гибели. Но подчеркиваю- это сугубо мое мнение.

А насчет Китая полностью согласен. Из двух зол нужно выбирать меньшее: лучше американская экспансия, чем Китайская. Не хочу показаться наци, но лично мне противен азиатский образ жизни, мышления и повадки
