Один из пунктов "Правил страхования средств наземного транспорта":

"снятие с учета или перерегистрация транспортного средства в органах ГИБДД"
Коллеги! Как бы вы это перевели?

Мои варианты:
1) "cancellation of registration or re-registration of the motor vehicle with the GIBDD authorities"
2) "cancellation or renewal of registration of the motor vehicle with the GIBDD authorities"

cancellation of registration - прекращение регистрации, т.е. регистрация пройдена не полностью.
В данном случае должно быть "удаление рестрационной записи" - i.e. abatement of register entries

I like Helpdesk's deregistration, but I'd say @re-registration@ for "перерегистрация"
