Reps are how many times you lift a weight without stopping for a break. Sets are how many times you do those reps. Example: 4 sets of 10 reps This means I lift the weight 10 times in a row without stopping or putting it down. After 10 reps I put the weight down to rest. When I start again this will be my second set. I will lift the weight again 10 times then stop and rest again. Keep doing this until I do it 4 times |
