Unplanned reductions or complete discontinuation of offtake of Gas by the Buyer shall be allowed upon occurrence of the following events (the “Buyer Reduction Events”):

(a) any material adverse changes in the gas markets of Russia, other former USSR countries and far abroad countries, including material reduction of demand or material reduction of gas prices, compared to the situation existing as at the date of this Agreement;
(b) unscheduled repairs of the facilities of the Unified Gas Supply Network of Russia and gas transportation networks of former USSR countries and far abroad countries, affecting the production and transportation of gas; and
(c) a reduction of the acceptance of gas by the customers in Russia, former USSR countries and far abroad countries as a result of any changes in climate conditions and other restricting factors (political situation, non-payments, unscheduled repairs of gas consumption-related facilities etc.).

Фраза "the following events" говорит о том, что лучше дать "события"...

consider "события снижения отбора покупателем" - выборка, имхо, скорее, кредитный термин. у газовиков вроде используют "отбор".
