Installation
The Skidder Gear Unit consists of both repairable and replaceable components. Accordingly, this document contains not only installation information but also, information about disassembly, inspection and assembly of system components.
a. Attach an adequate hoisting device to the primary Gearbox.
b. Hoist the Gearbox into well and secure it in its mounted position.
c. Fill the Gearbox to the proper level with specified lubricant.
d. Replace the electric motor (Refer to Disassembly/Assembly procedure).
e. Connect electrical leads to the Control Switches of the Gearbox Limit Switch as tagged or indicated in the Wiring Code or Wiring Diagrams.
f. Install cable on cable drum and apply cable load or load output pinion of the ***primary gearbox whichever is applicable for the installation. Возникли сомнения касательно выбора верного варианта для primary gearbox - первичный редуктор, первичная коробка передач, главный редуктор ..? Спасибо.
