Subject: not urgent was trying to explain to a friend here in moscow what the phrase "fuck off back to essex, Dave!"means in a film we were watching. he understood but i am wondering if anyone here has an idea how to really translate it. i am bad with russian swear words (dont really know them well) and want to tell him more exactly. sorry for the RUDENESS of the phrase! :) it was a very funny moment in the film (film is the Killing Game if anyone knows it) |
Дейв, у[job]ывай в свой Эссекс! |
Couldn't be said better :)))) "Вали в свой гр...ный Эссекс" could be another way of saying it :) |
Дейв, мать ... ..., ты ... ..., у... в свой .... эссекс на... !!! :)) Наверное к сказанному SH2 добавить нечего:) |
а тут не может быть игры слов, связанной со звучанием слова essex? |
типа "В Бобруйск, животное?" |
Ну вот да. У меня сразу вопрос. Является ли здесь Essex частью идиомы, или именно туда человека и посылают? |
напрашиваются лексемы: ass, sex |

no play on words... dave is FROM Essex which is in England! |
then everything is in-situ |
нам тогда непонятно, какой такой скрытый смысл не смог уловить ваш знакомый (-ая) в простейшей фразе "f*** off"... кстати, может, Crying Game? или точно Killing? |

2 слоны yes its the Crying Game (my mind was probably somewhere else when i wrote "killing game" - having that kind of day) and he didnt miss the meaning... i just wanted a more Russian way of saying it since i do not know much about translating russian swearing and vice versa.... |
