Each Gate will be pre-tuned during manufacture to an SWR of less than 1.1. When the Gates have been installed, each one must be fine-tuned as it may be affected by any surrounding metal and/or furniture. ...

When tuning the Gates, ensure that all equipment, tags and personnel are not located within the HF field. Make the tuning adjustment, and then step away from the Gates to read the values on ***scopes, meters, etc. This will ensure that measurements are accurate and not affected by equipment and/or personnel.
