| Почему бесконечно? Законопроект либо принимается, либо отклоняется в результате рассмотрения. Просто сами сроки рассмотрения не ограничены. |

specify как раз самое то, как тут говорят на МТ, и кроме того, это одно и з самых моих любимейших словечек bill американский вариант draft law (imho) ведь говорят же a deadline for receipt of/ submission of ..., поэтому можно и receipt/submission/ review deadline все в разумных рамках , кмк |

Senate and House Conference Committee members agreed to include ANWR language in the Defense Appropriations Bill. The Conferees next step is to vote on the final release of the bill and then it will be sent to the House floor this evening for a Rules Vote. The Rules Vote will set time limits for debate on the Defense Bill which hopefully will begin being debated this evening and possibly voted on before tomorrow. It will certainly be a midnight oil session for the House and the Senate will soon have to follow. Я тоже задавался вопросом, нужен ли артикль перед legislation. Соглашусь, что его можно не ставить. Перед draft law арикль, думаю, нужен, если речь идёт о чём-то конкретном. В противном случае, там будет артикль "a". Что касается "debate", здесь имеется ввиду именно физическое обсуждение самого законопроекта. Если "consider(ation)" действительно применяется носителями языка в таком контексте, то I stand corrected. |

вобщем, для перевода нужно знать 1) что за парламент 2) что понимается под законопроектом - данный конкретный или в общем случае 3) что понимается под рассмотрением - passage/review/consideration/deabate |
