5.2.3 Verticality

The maximum permitted deviation of the pile from the vertical is 1 in 200.

5.2.4 Rake

The piling rig shall be set and maintained to attain the required rake. The maximum permitted deviation of the finished pile from the specified rake or the rake shown on the Drawings is 1 in 25.

Возникли трудности со словами verticality и rake. Следует ли их переводить "вертикальность" и "отклонение по вертикали"? Или это одно и тоже? Надеюсь кто-нибудь сможет помочь.

имхо ... от вертикали откланяется 1 свая из 200 ... ну или 1 раз в 200 лет ... как-то так, вопщем...

Verticality is a measurement to determine how vertical is a pile.

Rake in piling works is the situation where the pile is set at a certain degree, and not vertically up-right.

...дык... я же написал то же самое, только в более развернутом виде:

"от вертикали отклоняется 1 свая из 200 ... ну или 1 раз в 200 лет "
