overruling = "missing = failure", т.е. занижающий истинную эффективность; в данном случае проще вообще эту фразу опустить, оставив только ее смысл

ага, т.е. решение использовать принцип "no overruling" - это, по сути, то же самое, что и отказ от использования принципа "missing = failure". Большое спасибо.
