Как лучше перевести: мир, породивший нас?

Оригинал: Мы не готовы соответствовать миру, породившему нас. Мы просто отделили себя от него. И пытаемся всеми силами овладеть им, наложить и на этот мир, породивший нас, свои собственные правила, своё собственное представление о том, какой должен быть мир.
Мир без определений, основанный на том что нравится, на том, чтобы оставить как есть, как удобнее, как сладостнее. А если мир давший нам жизнь пихает нам палки в колёса, постоянно напоминая нам, мозоля нам глаза, что наши правила, наша система не соответствует, конфликтует, то мы создаём новые ухищрения, чтобы уйти от этих фактов – создаём новые иллюзии, уже на существующих иллюзиях. Мир ведь это зло. А зло нужно побеждать! Вот и пытаемся впихнуть целую вселенную, в умозрительное человеческое представление о том, каким должен быть мир. Сделать весь мир под себя, подмять его, овладеть им, чтобы не мешал нам жить, как нам нравится и хочется.
Перевод: We are not ready to meet the world that gave birth to us. We just separated yourself from it. We try to take it by all means and to apply to this world that gave birth to us our own rules, our own idea of what the world should be.
A world without definitions, based on principle of preferred things, of leaving everything without changes as more convenient as more comfortable for us. Say, if the world gave birth to us put a spoke in our wheel, being an eyesore to us, constantly reminding us that our rules, our system does not match, confronts, then we create new tricks to get away from these facts and create new illusions, based on already existing illusions. Indeed, the world is evil. And evil must be conquered! Well we are trying to press a macrocosm in a microcosm, in the human speculative idea of what the world should be. We are trying to make the whole world work for us, to win, to control it, that it does not bother us to live as we like and want.

Можно, наверное, и как-то лучше, не настаиваю, но насчет conformity вы найдете много чего, в т.ч. и библейских цитат, напр (из словаря):
do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind — Rom 12:2
и еще в сети посмотрите.

Аскер, поправка: все-таки "породивший" точнее, конечно - created, beget, или ваше.
Forget "born into" for now. Тем более, там дальше "если мир давший нам жизнь".

Аскер, рад если помогло, но наверняка есть и другие вар-ты.
Такие тексты любят "большие", книжные слова.
Так что natrix +1, т.к 1) created - тоже библейское, и 2) синоним с вашим gave birth to, которое можете использовать в "если мир давший нам жизнь", чтобы не повторяться.

Вообще во фразу "Мы не готовы соответствовать миру, породившему нас" так и просится что-то вроде "в который мы были born into и indelible part of чего являемся".
А потом уже - "Мы просто отделили себя от него."
Но не будем "фантазиерен" и менять оригинал. Или будем? :)))

Еще как помогло. Мне нравится born into - пристрою его куда-нибудь - текст просто бесконечный...мозги уже в трубочку сворачиваются. Без товарищей никак...Там тоже дальше макрокосм с микрокосмом, и опять - кто кого породил..

we are tailoring the world to our likings/needs

3/ подмять его, овладеть им, (имхо здесь conquer)

В последнем можно убрать отрицание - It lets us live the way we ...

We just separated yourself from it. Насчет separate сомневаюсь..Там дальше идет - оделить овец от козлищ - мне кажется, divide больше подходит. Divide the sheeps from the goats или separate? Наводит мысль о сепараторе...
