Subject: OFF: "Packing Gas" gen. A little bitty-ass story of mineLast year I worked on a project as a translator slash interpreter .... I thought a had a good deal... Indeed I did ... Money wise and good people around... Had the time of my life... I really bought in and got the hang of the deal ... I shouldn't have ... I don't know where exactly I swerved but I guess I got velocitized off the practical knowledge I'd picked up and would unconsciously start running the project on my own ... Obvisouly they didn't like it and I was pulled off the project ... For good ... Though I was the best deal on this project ... It's exactly that time you realize you're expendable ... It was really a hard knock ... I was like dizzy for about a month ... Then I got myself another bit of work on a compressor package commissioning in the middle of nowhere with a team of American guys ... I worked my ass off ... 10 up to 16 hrs a day ... The customer was happy with my work ... I got myself an extention project in Europe with the same guys ... SO what I gottta say is you gotta let go of people who'd let go of you and live on!
