не слишком силен в химии. помогите пожалуйста.
Контекст: опреснительная установка. в главных рабочих цилндрах в качестве адсорбента находится вот эта самая смола.
интересует главным образом in acid cycle.

Acid cycle - it aparently means "regeneration cycle", when a column is flushed with an acid solution to exchange cations with H ions and to restore the resin to its' original state. After the acid cycle and rinsing the column is ready to use again.
