It depends. it could be yesterday evening or yesterday night, or the other night, or one could also say tuesday evening, wednesday evening, etc. if one knows what day of the week it was.

Нужно предложение переделать в косвенную речь: "I am going to the theatre tonight," he said to me. Так вот здесь tonight на что будет меняться?

or, He said he was going to the theatre in the evening. However Tamerlane's version is more technically correct.
